Chess sets: 16 handcrafted 3-D boards and pieces

Every piece and board in Chess in 3-D is built procedurally in code rather than loaded from a model file, which is why a full sculpted set streams into a browser tab in seconds. There are sixteen sets, each with its own silhouette, materials, board and capture effects.

Staunton Classic is free on every account. The remaining fifteen come with Pro. You can also bring your own: the Piece Studio imports a model you made elsewhere, or builds a set from photographs of your own pieces.
